Solok To Gain Profit from Its Strategic Location: Deputy Mayor

Solok, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Solok Municipality, West Sumatra has to gain profit from its strategic location in main intersection of Sumatra Highway, Deputy Mayor of Solok, Reiner stated. "Nowadays, we have to know how to utilize the strategic location to be optimal, so that Solok becomes one of the developed economy center in West Sumatra," he said while surveying Solok Market on Wednesday. Furthermore, as similar to Bukittinggi that thrived because of its location in main intersection of Sumatra Highway, Solok also becomes the link to some districts or cities in West Sumatra, he explained. With the strategic position, Solok has the big chance to be the center of new economy growth. Reiner said the government first step is fixing up Solok Market as a whole, not only as local citizens area for buying and selling, but also deserve to be the economy and shopping destination center, "If Solok Market had already become the complete modern market, I believe many people will come to shop," he added.
