While the price of premium quality rice with IR 42 Rp13,000 per kilogram and the previous price Rp12,900 per kilogram. Then, island yarn rice Rp13,000 per kilogram from the previous price Rp12,900 per kilogram.
"The price of rice has not increased significantly in the area," he added.
In addition to the price of paddy, he said, the price of dry unhulled rice at the farmers' level also increased by Rp100 per kilogram for each type such as, Batang Pasaman from Rp10,600 to Rp10,700 per kilogram, IR 42 from Rp12,100 to Rp12,200 per kilogram.
According to him, the increase of rice prices significantly in the national has no effect in the area due to the realization of rice production, planting area and harvest area increase every year. (cha)
