W Sumatra To Host Junior Secondary Sports Championship

Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - West Sumatra Province to host the Junior Secondary Sports Championship (Kejurwil) in Sumatra on December 19 to 23, 2017.

"The seven branches are wrestling, boxing, karate, martial arts, wushu, tarung degrees, and tennis," Organizing Committee Chairman Fazril Ale stataed in Padang on Monday.

The activity is not an multi event as does PON and has nothing to do with the sporting event.

Kejurwil is fully implemented in Padang conducted simultaneously which the implementation is given to each sport branch management.

In an illustration, there are several places of the match namely in GOR of UNP, HBT Pondok Building, G-Sport, Scout Building and STKIP of West Sumatra.

In GOR UNP, it will be held wushu, tarung degrees, and soft tennis. Then in the G-Sport is wrestling match, boxing in Building of HBT Pondok, STKIP West Sumatra held a karate and Scout Building held pencak silat match.

Although most of the games are open on December 19, the wushu branch will first be held on December 17, 2017.

"There will be 10 provinces in Sumatra that include their athletes in the Kejurwil," he said.

Chairman of National Sports Committee of Indonesia, Syaiful said junior Kejurwil became the first time held through its own institution program.

The subject is fully accommodated directly by Central KONI and the third party of West Sumatra's planned programs, previously there has been an increase in training resources and R & D of sports data.

For West Sumatra, it is also a reflection of readiness to hold other high-level activities such as PON. (cha)
