Unand Encourages Students To Entrepreneurship Early

Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - University of Andalas (Unand) Padang, West Sumatra encourages students to entrepreneurship early or doing it while they are still studying in college.

"Students need to be creative in creating business despite many burdens of lectures" Unand Rector Prof. Tafdil Husni stated in Padang, Tuesday.

As an encouraging step, the campus routinely holds an entrepreneurship public lecture by presenting successful leaders to become entrepreneurs.

It aims in introducing and motivating students to open a business.

Because today many students want to open their own business but still in doubt with their ability.

With the entrepreneurial lecture, it can motivate the students to continue the ideals with determination and high spirits.

Students can try it since in college and it is considered to be more mature than its predecessor.

Efforts to grow entrepreneurship in the middle of the campus also aims to create participation in reducing unemployment.

By changing the view of students from as a worker and becoming a producer of employment becomes the priority of the entrepreneurial goals.

As in the future, it will consistently bring in a number of national figures and entrepreneurs to become resource persons in entrepreneurship lectures.

Meanwhile, Coordinator Kopertis X Prof. Herri said all campuses both private and domestic have a strategic role in the creation of excellent resources.

One of them through the procurement of public lectures entrepreneurship which can help students to have more competitiveness.

Because by entering the world of commerce there will be strong competition in the world. It becomes such experiences to grow up later. (cha)
