Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - The repairing time for the road that will be passed by cyclist Tour de Singkarak (TdS) 2017 is extended from the beginning of seven days before the stage is held, to be one day before the stage.
"We hope all the stage can be held, therefore the road repairing time is extended," Vice Governor of West Sumatra, Nasrul Abit stated in Padang.
He mentioned it related to the readiness of TdS implementation in Padang on November 18 to 26, 2017.
The improvement process according to him is currently the focus for the Stage V line of Solok-South Solok (153.2 kilometers) which is held on November 22.
"Everything is on track now, hopefully on November 21 it will finish and stage V will be held," he said.
The latest development according to him, repairing work is already 80 percent.
TdS to the ninth time is scheduled to be held on November 18 to 26, 2017. The international cycling will be followed by 20 bicycle teams, namely 15 international teams and five national teams. (cha)
