W Sumatra Tax Vehicle Realization Reached Rp496.1 Billion

Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - The realization of motor vehicle tax on West Sumatra provincial revenue service until the third quarter of 2017 reached Rp496.1 billion.

"In the third quarter, the target is Rp437.4 billion. Its receipts actually reaches Rp496.1 billion or 113.3 percent," Head of West Sumatra Provincial Service Unit, Jaya Isman stated in Padang, Tuesday (Oct 3).

The tax revenues are sourced from Motor Vehicle Name Fee (BBNKB) and Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) on new vehicles, traces, vehicle plates outside West Sumatra and heavy equipment.

Of the total tax revenue, each for new vehicles worth Rp330.1 billion with PK43 by Rp43 billion and BBNKB Rp286.1 billion.

For used vehicles worth Rp157.4 billion, with PKB Rp155.3 billion and BBNKB Rp2 billion. While the vehicle plate outside West Sumatra worth Rp8.4 billion with details of each PKB Rp6.8 billion and BBNKB Rp1.5 billion.

Then taxes from heavy equipment valued at Rp77.7 million only for income PKB. So the total PKB for the vehicle is worth Rp206.2 billion and BBNKB Rp299.8 billion.

Overall, from January to September, the realization achieved was satisfactory because it exceeded the target.

The achievement of the vehicle tax target is based on several factors, among others, the level of the community economy, and the service of tax office that complies.

At the service provided today, it has provided various innovations to give the taxpayers ease to pay, such as Tax Corner, Samsat Drive Thru, and other.
