Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - Village funding program in West Sumatra from 2015 to 2017 has been running well, starting from planning, implementation and reporting until no village apparatus has been involved in legal cases to date.

"This is one of implementation advantages of village funding program in West Sumatra that must be maintained," Head of Community Development and Nagari (DPMN) of West Sumatra, Syafrizal stated in Padang, Monday (Oct 2).

All relevant agencies from provinces, districts and municipalities, experts and village counselors, play a role to ensure that the program is on target and in accordance with prevailing rules.

Even for the supervision of the inspectorate, the District Attorney at district and city as well as the police are also involved.

"We are trying to take preventive action, even if there is a mistake, we corrected it together to avoid a legal case," he said.

Then, human resources (SDM), head of nagari or village head recipients of village funds are not the same, to be a constraint, especially in terms of reporting activities in accordance with government standards.

But thanks to village counselors, the constraints are relatively manageable, he pointed out.

"The problem is, the reporting is sometimes late, one of them is due to the human resources factor," he said.

The delay sometimes makes the disbursement of village funds II constrained. It cause the distribution delayed until October.

"But in general, up to three years of village funding in West Sumatra, the absorption is always more than 90 percent," he added.

In 2017, tehre are 885 nagari (previously written 880) nagari and villages in West Sumatra received Rp720 million of village funds totaling Rp765.5 billion. (cha)
