Jakarta, (Antara Sumbar)- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) congratulated Indonesian railway company PT KAI on its 72nd anniversary, while riding a commuter line, Thursday.
"I congratulate PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) on its 72nd anniversary. I pray for PT KAI to progress and move forward further, while becoming a favorite transportation mode, which is safe, fast, and punctual. Let's ride a train!," the President was quoted as saying in a statement issued by Bey Machmudin, deputy in charge of protocol, press and media at the Presidential Secretariat, here, Friday (Sept 29).
President Jokowi recorded his congratulatory message aboard the commuter line, Thursday.
He departed from Juanda railway station in Central Jakarta and stopped at Cikini railway station, also central Jakarta. (*)
