Pulau Punjung, (Antara Sumbar) - Dharmasraya District, West Sumatra receives 63 units of agricultural machinery from Ministry of Agriculture in 2017.
Head of Infrastructure of Dharmasraya Agriculture Department, Zulya Daini in Pulau Punjung, on Monday (Sept 11) said the AIDS consist of 24 units of water pumps, 29 units of hand tractors, eight tractor with four wheels, three units of cropping tools, and two units of large kombain 80 hp.
"We hope by The assistance of these aids, our farmers can cultivate agricultural land maximally," he said
The government also motivates farmers to take advantage of the assistance as well as possible.
According to him, in order to maximize the use, the use of agricultural equipment will be accompanied by agricultural extension workers scattered in nine Implementation Unit Task (UPT) Agricultural Extension Institute (BPP) in every sub-district.
Aid of water pumping machine and trantor are given to farmer group while farmer group combination accept planting machine. (cha)
