W Pasaman is Forming Family Planning Village

Simpang Empat, (Antara Sumbar) - The Government of West Pasaman District, West Sumatra seeks to make distribution of health development by forming Family Planning Village in Jorong Tanjung Pangkal, Nagari Preparation Lingkuang Aua Ilir, Pasaman Sub-district, Monday (Sept 11).

"Even distribution of development, health, population data collection and economic equity are very important," Regent of West Pasaman, Syahiran stated during the inauguration of Family Planning Village.

He said that up to now there are eight Family Planning Villages inaugurated in West Pasaman.

The formation of Family Planning Village was purposely formed in the disadvantaged areas with the aim of smoothing service and development.

In addition, Family Planning Village is also one of strategic innovations in the effort to implement Family Planning and Family Development (KKBPK) activities and programs as a whole.

"Family Planning Village is one of the efforts to strengthen KKBPK program that is managed and organized from by and for community in empowering and providing convenience to community to obtain services," he said.

According to him, family planning program is an effort to realize a quality family in order to build a better of West Pasaman.

In an effort to achieve the target, National Family Planning and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) also develops programs that are deemed to be able to achieve development target of population control field and it can directly touch and benefit the community.

He hopes to perfect the implementation of activities, the ranks of Regional Device Organization (OPD) concerned can provide the coaching continuously, carrying out activities in accordance with duties and functions of OPD and report the results of activities for each month.

Representative BKKBN if West Sumatra, Budi Mulia said the formation of Family Planning Village is a follow-up direction of President of Indonesia for the benefits of family planning programs can be felt directly by community.

Especially those located in poor, densely populated, lagging, remote and fishermen areas throughout Indonesia.

"The family planning program is also focused on the poor and have no access to health facilities, so that the achievement of welfare can be seen and felt in every family in West Pasaman," he explained.

He invited all families of West Pasaman to participate as Family Planning participants. For families who have become participants to support the family planning program by inviting other families who have not participated yet. (cha)
