Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Pilgrims of West Sumatra will perform the Eid al-Adha 1438 Hijriyah prayer on August 31, 2017 based in Mushalla Baitul Makmur Padang.

"We believe in the fasting of Arafat, the fall of Eid al-Adha so that on Thursday it will perform the prayer," Leader of the Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Sumatran, Syafri Malin Mudo stated in Padang, Tuesday (Aug 29).

According to him, the determination of Eid al-Adha has been passed down since the time of Prophet, by counting 100 days after beginning of Ramadan.

This calculation is done by counting the night from beginning of Ramadan and the beginning of pilgrimage.

"In stipulation, there is no difference with other tarekat," he said.

In the implementation of prayers, it will remain two rakaat with seven takbir and five takbir, then carry out the khutbah after prayer.

It is just added him, the sermon is read in Arabic which continues to shake hands and sacrificial animal slaughter.

Related to special animal sacrifice, there will be cutting one cow and five goats.

The animal is a sacrifice from pilgrims in Padang and other areas.

"It is estimated there will be dozens of worshipers who pray at Eid al-Adha later," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the Naqsabandiyah pilgrims, Elli (43) said there is nothing different in terms of worship between Naqsabandiyah with other tarekat.

It is just, she said, that her side more oriented on provisions in Saudi Arabia.

She hopes the difference of Eid day will not be a problem. (cha)
