Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - Development of Integrated Tourism Area (KWT) Mandeh in South Pesisir, West Sumatra being constrained of land exemption regulations so that the investors can not do their investment, Vice Governor of West Sumatra, Nasrul Abit stated in here, on Wednesday (March 15).
"We can not do it because of the contraining of land exemption rules. Whereas we had budgeted Rp15 billion from South Pesisir Budget and Rp35 billion from Provincial Budget," he explained.
Because of the sam reason, he said, King Salman delegation to do investment in Mandeh must be cancel.
Head of Provincial Tourism Agency, Oni Yulfian clarifies the rules that led to land exemption is being constrained. It related to the Law number 2, 2012 about Land Procurement for Public Interest.
"In there, it is mentioned there are only 18 items of land type that can be released by government to public interest. From those items, incidentally there is no land for tourism," he said.
