Aceh, (Antara Sumbar) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla arrived back in Jakarta on Tuesday morning from the King Abdul Azis Airport in Jedah, Saudi Arabia, after performing a minor hajj umrah service in the holy land of Mecca.

Boarding presidential aircraft BBJ 2/A-001, the vice president departed from King Abdul Azis Airport at 3 pm local time on Monday and arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma airport at 7 am West Indonesia standard time (WIB) on Tuesday.

The flight from Jedah to Jakarta took 12 hours with a stopover at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport in Aceh for refueling.

Vice President Kalla started his overseas trip on October 18, 2017 to Istanbul, Turkey, for the 9th Summit Conference of Developing 8 nations (D-8) and bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip, and Guinean President Alpa Conde.

From Ataturk Airport in Turkey the Indonesian vice president left for Medina on Saturday morning to perform the minor umrah hajj service in the evening. (*)
