Painan, (Antara Sumbar) - The Regent of South Pesisir District, West Sumatra, Hendrajoni offers four bonuses for serious investors to invest in the Integrated Marine Tourism Area (KWBT) of Mandeh, Koto XI Tarusan Sub-district.

"We will facilitate the permission, permission can be done online, free permits issued, free of charge except building permits and that must be tax free for five years," Hendrajoni stated when describing the potential of Mandeh KWBT to participants of Regional Investment Forum (RIF) in Painan, Tuesday.

Bonus is given as a form of seriousness of local district government in promoting tourism sector through investor touch.

In Mandeh area, there are several exotic islands that can be managed by investors such as Sironjong Ketek Island, investors can build tourist rides and also build a floating restaurant there, it is very realistic because the waters is in a quiet location.

Furthermore, Satan Island and Bintagor Island, at the location, investors can build tourist rides, inns and restaurants.

While the island of Marak, investors can build a boat dock, clean water management, farm business and also restaurants.

Cubadak Island, where investors can build docks, inns and restaurants. Most of Cubadak Island is currently managed by investors from Italy.

In addition to the island, local district government also offers Puncak Mandeh which in the location can be built restaurant and it is an ideal place to explore the beauty of Mandeh Region as a whole.

Then, Bukit Ameh which has an area of 1,340 hectares and about 400 hectares is currently in the stage of land acquisition. On location, investors can build international-class hotels, golf courses, restaurants and more.

Deputy of Promotion of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Himawan Hariyoga mentioned that RIF participants are approximately 140 investors from various countries such as Malaysia, USA and others.

In the RIF held on October 15 to 17, 2017, investors are presented eight tourism destinations, six of them are priority destinations, while the other two are tourism destinations located in West Sumatra namely Integrated Tourism Area of Gunung Padang and KWBT Mandeh. (cha)
