The Regent requested that every regional apparatus organization (OPD) be able to create programs that could increase the rate of economic growth and have a real impact on the welfare of Tanah Datar people.

Head of Regional Development Planning and Development Agency (Baperlitbang) of Tanah Datar, Alfian Jamrah said it would formulate the necessary strategies and policies in order to accelerate the increase of economic growth rate.

"Various sectors supporting the economy will be studied and discussed, especially the improvement of natural resources quality and the production of leading agricultural commodities," he added. (cha)
