Padang Panjang, (Antara Sumbar) - Padang Panjang Municipality, West Sumatera, was chosen to host the performance of the Ambassador Appreciation of Juvenile Jamboree (Adu Jak Genre) of 2017.
Everything for the event was immediately prepared, Assistant I of the Secretariat of City Government Asrul told in Padang Panjang, Wednesday (Sept 20).
Before elected to host the provincial government, the first thing be done is the review of location condition.
After the review, finally Padang Panjang set as host of Adu Jak Genre national baton performance.
The performance will be attended by 1,400 participants from all regions in Indonesia.
He hoped the activity went well. "Hopefully the activity can improve the creativity of adolescents, their knowledge of the genre program itself and improve ability of adolescents in communicating," he said.
Head of Social Affairs, Population Control, Family Planning for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Local Social Service of PPKBPPPA), Martoni mentioned that the activities will take place from 22 to 27 of October 2017.
The location is planned in Mifan, the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), and several hotels in Padang Panjang.
This event is to cultivate a good way of communicating in youth, increasing creativity, adolescent knowledge, and adolescent understanding of the programs and promoting youth endurance and strengthening programs for adolescent PIK groups. (cha)
