Indonesia Tourism Stakeholders Conduct Promotion at ITE Vietnam

Jakarta, (Antara Sumbar) - A total of 15 stakeholders of the Indonesian tourism sector conducted promotional activities at the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) 2017 held in Vietnam.

The international travel expo was held on September 7-9, 2017, as stated in a press statement from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City received here on Monday.

The Ministry of Tourism and the Indonesian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City facilitated the 15 stakeholders from the tourism sector, comprising the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, six travel operators, three travel agents, and five hotels and spas.

The exhibition is an annual event organized to promote the image of Vietnam and its people.

The event was also held to encourage cultural and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and other countries, especially those in Southeast Asia.

These activities facilitate business meetings between international and regional buyers, with exhibitors, both for outbound and inbound products.

The ITE HCMC 2017 themed "Key to Tourism in Asia" was followed by various aviation, hotel, and tourism stakeholders from 18 countries: Australia, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, Kamboja, South Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
